What Is Zorapid Metal Extrusion ?

Metal extrusion shapes solid metal billets into continuous custom cross-section profiles under high hydraulic pressure.

Zorapid adopts both hot extrusion & cold extrusion technology to match different material & mechanical performance demands:

Hot Extrusion

Hot extrusion forms hard large alloy parts with low force and improved material performance.

Cold Extrusion

Cold extrusion delivers precise, high-strength metal parts with high material yield and fast production.

Extrusion materials

Materials are raw materials shaped by extrusion to make various profiles.

FAQ

Can you produce extrusion profiles based on our CAD drawings or samples?

Yes. Our engineering team reviews your STEP/DWG files, conducts extrusion flow simulation, then builds custom molds. We also accept physical sample reverse engineering.

Standard mold lead time: 7–10 working days; rapid prototype service within 72 hours for urgent small batches. Mass production lead time 10–18 days based on order quantity.

No rigid MOQ. We support prototype orders of 1–50 pieces, as well as full container mass production.

Full in-house secondary processing available. We deliver fully finished parts directly, saving your multi-supplier coordination cost.

All shipments come with material certificate, dimension inspection report and hardness test document upon request.
